Are you sure it's not maintaining frequencies? If not, it might not be saved. If it isn't saved, consider replacing the CMOS battery—it costs just a few dollars. Also, check if updating the BIOS resolves the issue.

It maintains the setting you specified, but the variation is significant. I checked other users' bios and noticed similar issues—images appear at 3610.94MHz while the device is set to 3600, and the CPU speed also fluctuates. It hasn't been this way before; it used to run smoothly without stuttering, though fast-paced games still show noticeable lag.

Consider installing a BIOS update. It appears there are around five versions of the Gigabyte B550 AORUS Elite V2 available.

It's called spread spectrum technology, and your motherboard is holding up just fine. Both of my gigabyte boards use this feature. My system setup matches yours perfectly, the CP2077 runs smoothly. Consider adjusting the negative curve for PBO if you haven't already—it really boosts CPU gaming performance, though don't expect major gains since it's more about GPU limitations than CPU power.

You should check your GPU using a simple hardware test tool or software designed for that purpose. Since you're concerned about faults, look for error messages or performance drops. It's understandable to worry about costs—consider testing early to avoid bigger issues later.
