The boost spot highlights a thrilling DreamHack Winter match between LDLC and Fnatic. On the third map overpass, Fnatic turned a 2-13 deficit into a 16-13 win. Details: the event took place at Dreamhack Winter Stockholm with a $250,000 prize pool. The contest sparked debate due to allegations of a team member being boosted. Opinions split—some call it pixel walking, others view it as a legitimate advantage. An official dispute was issued by LDLC regarding possible infractions. If Fnatic faces penalties, consequences could range from disqualification to removal. Additional commentary comes from a respected CSGO analyst on Twitter. It's disappointing that such a small exploit could shift the outcome. I believe Valve bears responsibility for this oversight. Everyone seems determined to block this map going forward. The casters have even asked participating teams if they’d consider using similar tactics, and all agreed to it. In my experience, nothing like this has been discussed before in CSGO matches.

They probably will try to improve it, but it’s okay if the player takes advantage of the map – that’s what makes it interesting.

And as much as this is true, it's up to them to make judgements on a case-to-case basis.

In TF2 everything seems acceptable, but it's surprising how knowing the map more easily leads to bans, which feels a bit unfair.

Valve didn't create CSGO themselves; Hidden Path developed and maintains it. It's not surprising that pros rely on exploits, as the pro scene has a higher presence of cheaters compared to the public. I hope he gets removed from the tournament.
