The issue arises because your system doesn’t meet the required hardware specifications for running Valorant at that performance level. Check if your GPU supports the necessary features and ensure your CPU matches the minimum requirements. Consider upgrading components or using a more powerful setup.

The iGPU is compatible with DX11, though techpower advises: "Although it supports DirectX 11, the available feature level is only 10_1, which may cause issues with many DirectX 11 and DirectX 12 games." It seems Intel hasn't released drivers for these models after Windows 7/8.1 in 2015, leaving you likely limited to basic VGA support. You might want to consider a more affordable GPU that still works with Valorant.

Try launching "dxdiag" as demonstrated. Check the reported DirectX version for your system and the GPU details under the Display section. Windows 8.1 typically requires DirectX 11.2, though this doesn't guarantee your GPU supports it or its full features.

DirectX 12 isn't supported on Windows 8.1, it works only with Windows 10, which raises a question about the compatibility.

I've been attempting to enjoy Valorant with my I5 2500K Intel HD 3000, but it mentions that DirectX 10.0 is needed. I've gone through all the YouTube tutorials, yet nothing seems to help. Can anyone suggest a workaround so I can play without the issue? My friends are playing and I really want to join them. Thanks ahead of time!
