Hi, I just purchased a Gigabyte Aorus FI32Q-X 1440p 270hz monitor. While playing Valorant, I noticed my screen briefly went black and displayed "display port 3840x2160" for a short time. Pressing Alt+Tab made it switch back to "Display port 2560x1440," which returned to the native resolution. The issue seems to occur even though the graphics settings are set to 1440p 270hz. I’m also confused about why the monitor shows GBT3207 (3840x2160 16:9) in the graphics settings. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I've just received this monitor and am facing the same problem with Valorant. Do you know of any fixes? I'm using an RTX 3080.

Another person using this monitor is experiencing the same problem; perhaps we should wait for a driver update. Until then, I'll play in full-screen with a windowed display to utilize the full 270Hz. I reached out to Gigabyte support to get their response.

I turned off full screen optimisation in valorant properties and it might have improved performance.

Disabling full-screen optimization fixes it for me as well. How has the game been running for you? Not sure if this is better than running windowed borderless.
I still get decent lag when i alt+tab
