Following the recent major update (Lotus one), Valorant began causing my laptop issues. It mostly occurs in menus, particularly right after a match ends. The effect is that everything freezes. No input responds, the laptop doesn’t shut down on its own. I have to press the power button repeatedly to force it off and then restart it. The Event Viewer shows no records of this. I attempted a fresh Windows installation for both versions 10 and 11, but it didn’t help. Other games I’ve tried—Forza Horizon 4, 5; Assassin's Creed Origins, Doom Eternal—also don’t have this problem. Is there a malfunction with my laptop or the game itself?
