When the fresh start PC was initialized, the clock speed was 5.1 GHz. However, after launch, the Valorant performance dropped to between 4.7 and 4.8 GHz. Someone could possibly clarify or explain the reason behind this change.
As mentioned, 5.1 represents the "max turbo" stage, which will remain active for a specific duration (tau, 56 seconds at 10700K) before transitioning from PL1 (229W) to PL2 (125W). Because power usage doesn't increase linearly with clock speed, these values of 4.7-4.8 might be the limits your chip can sustain without exceeding 125W. You have the flexibility to adjust settings on various boards—some may disregard Intel's guidelines even on their own—to maintain higher clocks, though this will result in increased power consumption, elevated temperatures, and greater cooling requirements.
