The speed of an SSD relies on various factors, including Ryzens and RAM, and it needs a full system benchmark to determine accurately. Simply swapping SSDs without changing other settings won’t give a reliable result.

No, that's incorrect. SATA SSDs are available in both M.2 and 2.5" formats. NVMe drives are not offered in the 2.5" size.
