Vsync is known to cause some input lag problems. Personally, I don’t notice any lag in most games when using it. Interestingly, even when I set a frame cap to 60 in games that let me, I still see tearing until I switch back to VSync. I can’t figure out why, but overall I’m satisfied with VSync.
It seems the system runs without noticeable delay. Playing with the settings makes it feel more responsive. Others often point out delays when they mention them, even if none exist.
