It's the identical software, just with a different icon color. The name is the same, and everything else matches perfectly—features, included items, and ads are all identical.

Utorrent was consuming a lot of CPU, whereas bittorrent was mostly idle. It might have been updated and I ended up using the newest version under bittorrent.

I moved from uTorrent to qBittorrent and am really satisfied. uTorrent was great in the past, but they made many negative changes, got acquired by Bittorrent and continued more harmful updates.
