Currently, I’m using Tail Scale to connect to my home network for streaming on my jellyfin server. I also pay for next DNS and Mullvad, but I prefer a Raspberry Pi for the AdBlocking role since NextDNS is free. Would it be feasible to run Pohole inside Tail Scale for ad blocking while keeping Mullvad working properly? Thanks for clarifying if this isn’t clear.

When using an adblocker like Pihole, you configure your VPN client settings on the device itself. In your VPN setup, you designate Pihole as the DNS server. I typically run WireGuard with a split tunnel when away from home, or enable full tunneling if I have no trust in the local network, and I point the WireGuard clients' DNS to my Pihole IP address. This ensures all DNS requests go through Pihole, keeping your laptop's resolution consistent.
