Hey there, this has been a bit frustrating trying to understand it. I think I recall Linus demonstrating a video where he showed off a program that told Windows the display used staggered pixels instead of standard square ones. I’m wondering if anyone knows anything about that or if there’s a way to get it for my setup—specifically a 4K 60Hz gaming monitor. The main problem is the edges and text look really distorted because of the pixel pattern. I assume the program was part of a video he was using to showcase a new gaming monitor.
Use the Windows clear type tool and continue choosing the most readable box until you reach the end.
