You might want to explore alternatives for iCloud integration with Linux. Since you're interested in KDE, check if there are official distributions or community setups that support it. Also, consider other cloud services like Dropbox or OneDrive, which have better Linux compatibility.

KDE serves as a desktop setup, not a distribution. You can install it via the link provided, but it functions more like web-based containers. It works similarly to browsing apps in separate windows.

It seems confusing what triggered this... I have the Snap version of iCloud, but it functions more like web containers. iCloud also treats it as a browser. I was expecting a method to connect those folders to Dolphin or another file manager, or perhaps a way to sync them.

They previously backed up WebDAV, you might want to explore that option. Dolphin in KDE offers support for this protocol during setup. However, I’m struggling to connect using any of the webdav icloud server URLs I’ve discovered via Google, and the old WebDAV info page is no longer available on the ICloud site. If this isn’t possible anymore, it seems there may not be a current method to sync with ICloud.
