Hey there, I sometimes feel the need to clean out my components. Recently, my CPU has been a bit overclocked, and now it’s about RAM. I’m using Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3000C15 with two 8GB sticks on an Asus Prime B350 Plus. My Ryzen 5 1600 runs at 3.6GHz. I’ve tried tweaking the manual RAM timings and using the DRAM Calculator settings for Ryzen, but every time I try to save, the PC restarts four times before it loads the UEFI again. I’ve adjusted everything I could find in the UEFI, but I’m not sure what’s missing. My RAM voltage is set at 1.35V, and the SoC auto-detects different voltages. I’m confused about what I might have done wrong. For now, I’m going back to the stable DOCP settings. Appreciate any help!

Increase the RAM voltage to 1.4 or 1.45v. It might be reaching the maximum limits of the RAM and IMC, so they can't go any higher.

You're adjusting the clock speed beyond the standard limits of the first-gen Ryzen, though timing tweaks might be a better approach. The exact component being boosted isn't specified.

You might consider adjusting the SOC to around 1.15 or 1.2 with DRAM set at 1.4/0.45, which is generally secure. If you truly can't improve beyond your current setup, it may be the IMC or the ICs themselves that aren't managing the overclock properly. Each IC and IMC has its own limits.
