Utilization cap reached on GPU below 5% activity
I observed my GTX 1070's performance dropping significantly. In 3DMark I'm receiving a GPU score of 3799, which is well below the typical 6500+ for this model. Checking the CPU ID monitor revealed I was reaching utilization limits even when idle. During 3DMark runs, I reached power limits much earlier than before. The screenshot on the right (white) shows the state from about two months ago, while the left (dark) is today after a 3DMark session. I turned off MSI Afterburner and reinstalled drivers. Please assist—I hope to play Dark and Darker tomorrow. For those unfamiliar with CPUID HW monitor, the columns indicate current status, minimum, and maximum values.
