Typically my Steam downloads stay between 5-12MB/s. When I used GeForce Now, it reached 35MB/s. My ISP can go up to about 120MB/s. That’s why the download speed was higher than expected.

Likely due to GeForce Now interpreting Mbps, Steam uses MB/s by default.

It wasn't just a small number. It was 35 Megabytes every second.

Steam doesn't enforce a strict download limit, but speeds vary by server. Which one are you connecting to?

I don't agree. From what I saw, the server indicated Toronto when downloading via GeForce Now-Steam, just like with Steam without GeForce Now. I understand it was measured in megabytes due to the download speed.

Steam typically picks servers automatically depending on your region. Since I’m in Huntsville, AL and it’s close to Atlanta, it chooses the nearest server. If you want to verify or adjust this selection, you can do so yourself.

GeForce now doesn’t save games on your device. It only provides remote access to a machine equipped with gaming components. Download speeds reached 35mb/s because your internet connection was faster than usual.
