I'm facing an issue in Overwatch and Destiny 2 where my FPS drops noticeably every 4 seconds. In Destiny 2, it usually ranges between 70-80 FPS and then falls to around 10. I can check this in MSI Afterburner—CPU frequency drops from 4800Hz to 400MHz when FPS decreases, then returns. It seems like a strange CPU-GPU timing problem, which is hard to fix. Time Spy and Chinabench are working fine. Could you help me out? Thanks!

This screams thermal throttling. Check how your temps are. If you are at or over 100C when this happens, then there's the reason. Its gaming laptop, so I don't expect that temps would be under 80C.

Perhaps, though reducing the frame rate still works; however, in a few unusual situations it might function properly.
