Hello everyone
I have two 8-pack 3200mhz cl16 Corsair RAM modules and my motherboard is an MSI 390 Ace which supports up to 4000mhz. My CPU is a Core i7 8700 (non-K) that only supports 2666mhz RAM. I’m wondering if it’s possible to use an XMP profile to reach the 3200mhz speed, and whether my default RAM speed is 2133. Also, can I manually set my RAM speed to 2666?

You're using the Z series chipset that enables RAM overclocking. The IMC can be overclocked, but the processor itself remains stable. Before proceeding, double-check that you've installed the most recent BIOS update (if any are available).
