N is the Europe edition, it lacks a few built-in apps (Media Player, Music, Video, Voice Recorder, Skype) and some advanced features that set it apart. If you prefer, opt for the standard Pro version instead of cutting down on Pro N. https://www.onecomputerguy.com/windows-10-pro-vs-pro-n/

You can still access N edition even if you're in the USA, but it depends on your subscription details. Sometimes you might not need to use any media at all.

Avoid using multimedia apps—download them from the MS store if needed. Keeping preinstalled software minimal helps make Windows lighter. If that's your aim, consider removing unnecessary components.

Pro N was bundled with gpedit.msc, which is the Group Policy Editor.
