Do you know how to assign particular client devices to their own isolated network segments for enhanced security? I need to separate three devices into distinct networks so that only authorized users can see them. The RT-AX86U Pro supports VLANs, but that doesn’t match the setup I’m aiming for. If someone familiar with this router can configure it correctly without disrupting access, they’d be very helpful!

The goal of VLANning centers around organizing network traffic by grouping devices into logical segments. On the router, this typically means setting up a VLAN, establishing rules for who can access certain parts, and then directing specific ports to join that segment. This helps improve security, performance, and manageability. Whether it's for wired connections or wireless setups, the key is defining the right access policies and port assignments.

You're aiming to isolate specific devices and grant limited access while keeping others restricted. Focus on setting up clear segmentation for WireGuard, TrueNAS, and the AdGuard Raspberry Pi. Control who can reach the root network by adjusting permissions and configurations accordingly.
