I encountered an issue with screen sharing across various applications, including Google Meet and Teams. Once I clicked to share the screen, my mouse would disconnect, audio would stop, and the screen would freeze. To resolve this, I had to plug in a new mouse and move it quickly to end the sharing, often needing several attempts to locate the correct button. I spent two days searching for a fix but couldn't find a solution. I have an RTX 3070 and noticed that instant replay might interfere with screen sharing. I tried disabling it, but it didn’t help. My system specs are: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, Gigabyte RTX 3070 AORUS MASTER 8G, 32GB DDR4, Corsair Vengeance, and a B550 AORUS PRO AC. I’m running Windows 11 and NVIDIA drivers are up to date.

Looks like improvements could come from updated drivers. Make sure the GPU, CPU, motherboard, and chipset are current. If issues persist, check peripheral drivers next.

If there’s no advanced endpoint security in place, I’d likely start with DDU, clear everything and reinstall. Having extra hardware gives me the option to swap the boot SSD and perform a fresh setup, checking whether it aligns with the system or stays isolated.

I checked some resources and it seems to be improving. I can share what I read and tried—so far it’s helping instead of showing screenshots. It worked for about 2 minutes, then disconnected and lasted around 5 minutes. There might be future issues, but it’s been functional so far. To fix it, open Win + R, go to %appdata%, navigate to Roaming > Discord, remove GPUcache, Cache, and Code Cache (don’t delete DawnCache), close Discord via Task Manager, and finally move files from Recycle Bin before reopening Discord. This approach helped me previously, so give it a try. I noticed this problem after installing my Lin Li AIO, possibly linked to the wireless Corsair Ironclaw. If it doesn’t resolve, let me know what else you experience.

Have you checked and updated the NVIDIA drivers?
