Using Rust causes my computer to reboot, resulting in a black display.
Hello, I’m experiencing an issue. I recently upgraded my computer with a new Ryzen 5 3600 processor and an RX 5700XT ROG STRIX graphics card. Here are my computer’s specifications: ASRock B450M Pro 4 motherboard, Team Group DeltaRGB RAM (3000MHz CL16, 16GB), Seasonic Focus Platinum 750W power supply, Mastercase Pro 3 case, Crucial MX500 M.2 SSD, and Patriot Burst 2.5 SSD. I'm using a Ryzen 5 3600, Hyper 212 LED Turbo CPU cooler, and RX 5700XT ROG STRIX. Temperatures are within a normal range (45-60°C), and RAM usage during gameplay rarely exceeds 10GB. However, the system freezes with a black screen, emits unusual noises, and then automatically restarts. This typically occurs after 15 minutes to 1-3 hours of operation. Other games run without any problems, and I’ve ensured all drivers are current as best as I can verify.
To assist you effectively, please specify the games you're encountering problems with and where you obtained them. Have you recently updated your motherboard’s BIOS? What version of Windows 10 are you utilizing – specifically, did you use the Windows Media Creation Tools to install it?
In 2023, I am utilizing the most recent BIOS version. I’ve attempted numerous solutions. I spent four hours playing Rust without experiencing a crash, and I will report if the issue reappears.
