Using an OC chip boosted GPU temperatures.
Adjusted my FX-8300 around 6% and observed the GPU (RX-480 8GB) appears to be handling more load, while CPU temperatures are dropping. On YouTube it now reaches up to 110°F instead of the previous 100°F. When playing Genshin Impact, it used to level out at 145°F but now in the same test it hits 155°F. What’s happening? Did the overclocking disrupt everything? Are the readings inaccurate? Could the GPU be working differently for some odd reason?
The 10F gap isn't significant. A slight temperature variation is typical with changes in room and case temperatures, whether one or both. The readings seem acceptable in either case. For accurate tracking, use Celsius measurements. Computers are recorded using the metric system.
The temperature stayed constant and only changed right after my OC. That means it's not just a regular change. My room doesn't vary much in temperature, so it can't be that. Also, Fahrenheit is more precise for this situation.
It must be really lonely on Condescension Hill when everyone acts so arrogant. Appreciate you for your honesty.
