You can also prepare your system with sysprep instead of relying on the current drivers. Just use the CD that came with the setup. Normally it works well since you're using a different motherboard and not an HDD. If you need a new HDD, obtain the key and install the OS or try Windows Easy Transfer. I frequently do syspreps, so this seems like my top choice.
