Hello everyone, I just set up a new NAS using a Supermicro 1U server and an Xeon E3 v5 processor. I’m curious about using UNRAID to build a Windows VM with VNC for graphics, installing Steam, and streaming it for cloud gaming. I’m planning to allocate two cores for this budget-friendly setup and want to know if everything will work smoothly and if it can deliver smooth frame rates.

Stay clear of unraid and opt for xen or esxi. Virtual graphics aren't reliable (qxl(called vnc for whatever reason)). CPU performance remains unaffected since the host retains full control over core usage, even when the VM isn't actively consuming it. No
