No, but still, i'm afraid it will feel choppy due to the low amount of ram. besides, my computer already uses over 3 gigs alone.

It's clearly a technical preview, not yet for general use. Honestly, it matches what you'd anticipate. You'd want to try it only once the hardware is ready.
