It's good to know the age of your Corsair CX750F RGB and the GPU it ran before. I think a better power supply would have been a good idea.

Thank you for the update. He purchased it when I built my rig two years ago. It hasn't performed well lately because he's busy and only plays games at night. I'm curious about how this connector functions—does it actually work?

He's managing his costs now. A 750w PSU works well with the 13400f i5, so it shouldn't be overly demanding.
