It could be the actual hardware that's deteriorating. Usually, these components can be found or swapped at the bottom of the laptop.

Absolutely, I share your concern. While it might seem tempting to fix the issue yourself, I'm concerned about breaking my warranty. I'm focusing on resolving it via software, but if it's a hardware fault, I'll wait until restrictions ease and service centers become available. I've also seen discussions on forums indicating that the WiFi card often has problems and defects. Thank you for your reply—it's comforting to know there might be a clear explanation for the issue.

I understand. I've got a box full of questionable wifi card from laptops. Manufacturers seem to scum out on quality when it comes to wifi cards, regardless of the pricetag on the laptop. If it's under warranty, by all means use that warranty and get it replaced.

It looks like they do compromise on the quality of WiFi cards. Thanks for bringing this to attention. I’ll follow your guidance and arrange a replacement within my warranty period. I’m really let down to spend so much on a gaming notebook only to discover the network card isn’t functioning. I appreciate you helping confirm it might be a hardware problem. Hopefully, more people will benefit from this. Thanks again and have a great day!

You might consider this: Changing the card ... which will cure the problem ... but it will create another problem: First off - I know this is a wild claim: But Asus seems to knowingly place a very bad / crappy wifi-card (Atheros or Realtek) in their laptops. And, when the user finds out (slow / unstable connection) - then it is all too tempting to exchange this card. - because one can buy a VERY GOOD and CHEAP alternative card (Intel-AX200 for instance) .. and then change it, (nearly) without any hassles (depending on laptop-model). And, that is where smart Asus wins: - because, WARRANTY IS VOID, if the wifi-card is removed. [only ram+HDD can be added/replaced, without voiding the Asus-Warranty!]. I actually went through exactly this - only to be so naive that I called Asus, in the hope that they would change the card or send a better to me. - but, they were "not knowing anything of this problem". - which I could not get to make any sense - because it is obviously a common problem - because ANYBODY that buys an Asus Windows-Laptop will experience this!! ... aspecially demanding gamers! - meaning, that Asus IS GETTING a lot of calls/emails/chats, regarding this! - so, it is simply not possible to be a support-employee at Asus, and not having experienced this. ... So, I knew, that Asus was difficult to get to help, if warranty-support/repair was needed. - but, I did NOT have the imagination, to figure this out this "path of logic" - before I noticed, that this problem unfortunately IS ALL TOO COMMON (by doing simple searchs on the web). - that is: different models share the same problem. A problem that even "spans through more years" (which has given Asus a lot of time to stop using a faulty wifi-card) .... indicating again: that this is due to a policy, not an error !! What makes this even worse: - by inserting a very "simple to replace wifi-card" (in a simple M.2-socket). - that the user can "all too simple" exchange, with "a cheap alternative wifi-card", such as the Intel-AX200. - well, then it doesn't take an Einstein to understand, that most users will go this way, and "take a chance" ... and, then: The user has no warranty - and Asus can avoid repair-costs ... And, on top of that: - Asus can even earn some more extra money! - because an item sent-in, where the fault is "because of the user", can be charged expedition-fees (typically 1 repair-hour + other fees) ... and the "pay-demand" will be "compulsory", because if the user don't pay, then he/she will not have any Laptop anymore! If you don't believe me, then search on the web, for this specific fault/annoyance: Wifi-card slow/erratic performance, and you will see the clear pattern !!! (some writes with "problem wifi card" - the keywords vary). And, so many models - among the TUF and ROG series ... which Asus knows that demanding users are buying - users that also do DYI-projetcs typically ... so, fast, a wifi-card is exchanged, and the trap engages: "warranty is void!"
