The folder name is created from the identifier of your Microsoft account. Changing it isn’t straightforward. You can adjust it by forming a new local account with the desired name—make sure it’s set as Admin—and switch there. The system will generate the account, keeping the original folder path intact under C:\Users\,. After setup, connect it to your Microsoft account; it won’t be renamed. This lets you transfer files between accounts and remove incorrect ones. In short: if your account is named John, switch to Steve, log in, and link it back—renaming isn’t possible due to system constraints.
