I've been editing a short clip and found a section that runs slowly, so I'm adding visuals to improve engagement. I'm curious about merging two videos with narration in the second one.

External audio tracks can be adjusted freely. You can also mute or reduce audio in video clips. Alternatively, export the second clip and merge them into a new project.
