I'm working on Ubuntu Gnome and want to know alternative ways to route traffic through SOCKS5 without using the GUI. Since I rely on a Shadowsocks proxy to bypass GFW, I'm looking for methods to configure my system to use SOCKS5 directly via terminal. If I can set up a Shadowsocks server with the command line and adjust my system proxy settings to point to SOCKS5, that would solve the issue.
