I've managed several desktops and laptops, and on some of the newer Windows 10 setups I downloaded from the Microsoft site, the TaskBars disappeared completely. You only saw the icons, not any colored bars like grey or blue. The Windows button, Quick Launch, and time display stayed visible. Could there be a different setting in other versions? I've enabled transparency, but it didn't work the same way. Thanks James.
This behavior is unusual. The taskbar shouldn't have full transparency.
