The issue likely stems from how Windows Media Player handles multiple tracks. VLC may not automatically queue or play them sequentially unless configured properly. Check the playback settings or use a different method to ensure smooth playback.

You want to queue up files. The only way I understand is by clicking Media, then selecting "Open Multiple Files," and dragging the files into the box. You can move a file several times, and once you're ready, just click Play in whatever sequence you prefer.

That's correct. It can be quite frustrating having to set everything up each time I want to listen to a new album.

To listen to an album, simply right-click the folder and select Play using VLC. It will add the file to the queue according to its position in the folder.

I also attempted Foobar but wasn’t able to obtain it as expected. It seems the setup might have been incorrect. I recommend trying again.

It's frustrating trying to find something that fits your preferences, but once you like it, you'll prefer it over everything else.
