I've attempted to restrict access through firewall outbound settings, yet it still seems to reach the internet to notify about a pending update. Given my concerns, I've accidentally clicked "yes" several times, which prompted me to quickly remove the Ethernet cable—though that wasn't an ideal fix. The main issue is twofold: first, I'm uncertain if I configured everything correctly, and second, I might have overlooked some processes to block.
