It really takes a lot of power to hit those high frames unless you lower the settings. My max is usually between 20 and 30.

Turn Vsync on. But I see no reason to limit it. At whst refresh rate it is running at (monitor). Did you just turn vsync (i believe tjere double and triple buffered too try if they make any impact)

You can control frame rate with NVIDIA profile inspector: https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/nvi...nload.html which helps lower GPU usage.

Alternatively, Rivatuner is commonly included with MSI Afterburner. It features a global FPS limit in the settings. Additionally, NVIDIA Inspector's FPS cap introduces more input lag, though this is less significant if you're not using high frame rates.
