I relied on the Shift+Alt combination for years, but after upgrading to Windows 11 it doesn’t function as smoothly as before. In Windows 10 it was straightforward—pressing both keys together worked consistently. Now I have to hit one key first, then another, and each press alters the layout. It feels like Microsoft adjusted how the system registers keystrokes. My muscle memory is fading when I see my sentence repeated in jumbled text. The Windows+Space shortcut remains useful but demands more wrist movement, slowing me down. I’m trying to stick with it, but I’m unsure if there’s a workaround.
