I'm trying to figure out how to connect my devices more smoothly. Right now I'm using an Archer V600 as a switch for my PC and CCTV, with everything else hardwired to my Virgin broadband router upstairs. Devices like Sky Q aren't showing up when I use the AP because it's searching for the STB connected to the router downstairs. The AP also has a USB port for media, but my devices upstairs can't reach it without connecting to the AP, which is farther away than the main router. I'm considering using the secondary AP as a bridge to boost Wi-Fi downstairs and act as a switch for my hardwired PC, while also sharing media through the router with the other router's equipment. I'm not sure if this setup would work, especially since I can't find a way to access the broadband from the Ethernet port in the WAN SLoT.
