Hello, I initially thought about posting this on the Dolphin forum, but it seems more suited as a technical discussion. I’m looking for an old classic that explores "beyond good and evil." Now I have both PC and GameCube versions. The PC version sometimes has poor mouse controls, especially with the camera, and the engine struggles on quadcores and Windows 10. The GameCube version looks low resolution. I wanted to replay it using an emulator with 4x Native NGC and a GameCube controller (3-in-1 Magic JoyBox). I noticed the game displays a cinematic letterbox at 4:3, almost 16:9 with borders. Can I instruct Dolphin or the GPU to adjust the display size for this app? I tried changing the zoom by 77% (from 1080p to 1440p) and thought it would fit neatly without visible edges. Please let me know what solutions you recommend. I’ve checked NVIDIA’s control panel and Dolphin settings, but nothing worked. Regards, maj.

In the dolphin graphics options, you can adjust both the window size and the rendering quality to your preference. Choosing both resolutions at 2560x1440 will let the display match your monitor's native settings. Setting the window to 2560x1440 while using a render resolution of 1920x1080 mimics playing in fullscreen with a lower game resolution than your screen.

Adjusting the display resolution doesn't affect the overall size of the screen. It merely reduces the detail level.

I'm struggling to grasp exactly what you need. Would you like me to adjust the display settings? Go to Graphics > General > Display, set the fullscreen resolution to your preference, change the aspect ratio, and make fullscreen accessible with a mouse click.

The game uses a fixed 16:9 size in a 4:3 format, which doesn’t fit the window by default. You’ll need to trim parts of the resolution and manually adjust the view. Zooming is suggested as a workaround, but there’s no built-in tool available.

It seems zooming isn't available in Dolphin. You might find the official forums useful for assistance: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/
