You don’t launch an .exe using WinRar. These files are usually programs or installers, but you can store them inside a WinRar archive. Right-click the desktop, select “New,” choose “WinRAR Archive,” and drag the .exe file into it.

It has both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. I require the 32-bit files but it installs the 64-bit ones.

Click "Extract files"
Choose the location for the extracted files (default is the .RAR file name)
Navigate to the folder where it was extracted
Open the selected file

You can obtain .exe files using win rar. I needed this during HP display driver installation because they claimed incompatibility when trying the .exe directly, but after extracting it and directing Windows to the .inf file, it worked smoothly.

It seems there might have been a mix-up. If you're trying to avoid compression, consider using a different method or tool instead of repeatedly extracting files.
