Hello! I'm adjusting the monitor's refresh rate in CRU until I can get a 1440p display, but the screen still copies itself at the bottom. I've never experienced this before and didn't look up any related info. I suspect the issue might be with the HDMI cable—maybe it's an older version or generic. Since I already own five HDMI ports, I don't want to replace them just to avoid cloning. The monitor is an AOC 22" LE22H158 with 4790K, 16GB RAM, Maximus VII Formula, 3060 Ti, 600W, SSDs/HDDs. Higher refresh rates cause more cloning, so around 120Hz makes it look like 30% of the screen. The cloned section also flickers or vibrates. Thanks!
Welcome to the discussions! Pressing Win+Shift+s captures a screenshot and places it on your clipboard. While some may find it tempting to share personal content or engage in certain topics, there’s no real incentive to post daily softcore material. It seems you’re facing challenges with refresh rates—typically a modest improvement of 5-10% is the best you can achieve, though stability problems can arise if you increase the frequency too much. The panels here are quite old and subpar, so you’ll likely settle for a 60Hz display at the moment. Good luck, but don’t expect a win in this area today.
Smartly, this involves pressing Win+Shift+S. As you observe, it doesn't display the issue, which is why I captured a photo with the phone. I also blanked the entire screen with a plain page showing the monitors' Hz and CRU values. I used paint to conceal the email and name instead of leaving them visible. The least effective panel remains unaddressed; this is merely a misleading screenshot. That's why I relied on a camera initially. If anyone knows what triggers that cut, please let me know. I suspect the HDMI cable might be the cause—testing with another monitor could clarify.
Is this version actually genuine? It seems quite unusual. Still, it displays 0mv, which might indicate it's authentic (though it shouldn't be done). Regarding your issue, have you attempted to restart the PC after adjusting the refresh rate? Perhaps a Windows glitch is causing this. Or could it be another strange version of AB?
