Use an Intel SD Host Controller to ensure your Windows 7 installer functions properly.
Hi there. I recently received an HP Stream, but it’s quite sluggish with Windows 10 installed. I considered downgrading to Windows 7. Initially, I tried formatting the drive and booted from a Windows 7 USB, only to discover my device wasn’t recognized. After two weeks, I decided on a workaround: install a lighter version of Windows 10 (Windows 10 LTSC 2019), add the Wi-Fi driver, and use the setup.exe installer. The installation mentioned needing an Intel SD Host Controller driver, but I only found options that were either random virus downloads or a Russian site with limited language support and a request for my phone number. My laptop model is the HP Stream 13-c110ca (Energy Star), and the support link provided is https://support.hp.com/ca-en/drivers/sel...ku=P4B15UA. Assistance would be really helpful.
I attempted that. I set up Lubuntu but it ran noticeably slower than Windows 10 LTSC 2019 (without the updates). I'm still searching for a trustworthy Intel SD Host Controller Driver.
Looking for a genuine host controller driver for the Samsung BGND3R eMMc storage. Please verify it’s legitimate and suitable for your setup.
I'm facing the same situation as you—still looking for a suitable driver after several weeks. Have you come across anything that fits?
