Secure the pins onto the chip, place them in an anti-static foam pad, then store it inside a compact, reinforced box filled with air-filling material such as crumpled paper. Finally, wrap the box in a padded envelope for safe shipping.

Cut a dish washing sponge in half, place the CPU between them, then put it in a plastic or cardboard box. If needed, fill the box with crumpled paper. You can also use cotton wool as a soft bed, layering 2-3 layers, or even a cotton sock. The goal is to create a cushioned surface so the pins stay safe and undamaged. Build the box from rigid plastic or cardboard to ensure stability.
