Hello! It seems you're experiencing an issue with your Alt+Tab shortcut not switching apps as expected. To disable this behavior, you can go into your system settings and adjust the keyboard shortcuts or use a custom mapping if needed. Let me know if you'd like more detailed steps!

Also, when I hit alt plus a number, it launches the related app in my task bar, something it hadn't done before.

The menu that appears when you press Alt+Tab is likely named Timeline. It displays a visual representation of time or events.

The main problem is that pressing Alt+number in MSFS brings up an app on the taskbar, something that didn’t happen before yesterday.

The issue was resolved because my Keychron K2 was running in Mac mode, which used Alt as a distinct key. That was the cause of the problem.

It seems you're referring to a keyboard shortcut that worked before. I'll check if any updates or patches might have affected it. Also, did the problem continue after restarting the computer?

I found the solution—it was just a quirk with my keyboard.

Task View or the app opening on numbers is clearly the Windows feature, not the Alt key. Mac keyboards rotate through their OS commands differently than Windows' Start button, and the spacebar is more convenient to reach with a thumb.
