I’m dealing with an issue involving Nvidia Broadcast. I recorded everything here. Essentially, while troubleshooting a problem with the software, I found a registry record that references this app and “unnamed devices.” This entry stays even after uninstalling or reinstalling the program. I suspect it might be causing all my issues, so I’m considering removing it. The error message always says: “Unable to delete {entry_name}. An error occurred while deleting a record.” I’ve tried adjusting groups and permissions, but it didn’t help. I’m not confident in the guides I found because the information seems identical across sources. Could someone here recommend a reliable way to clear registry entries? If you can't simply remove the registry record, the best option seems to be a complete reinstall of Windows.
It's highly likely this app will malfunction again. Regularly reinstalling Windows isn't the solution I'm looking for. I'm seeking a device that can be used daily for group calls, allowing smooth conversation without constantly adjusting the microphone multiple times per minute.
For the issue to resolve, simply add the vc_redist packages from the official site. Restart Windows, reinstall all your programs, and then install the same vendor's library package that originally developed the operating system. Afterward, run the app you were using and restart again.
