I recently updated my whole setup, added new windows to my fresh SSD. My HDD now serves as the second drive for games and old files, hosting many apps but I don’t want to create shortcuts. They aren’t even listed in the search bar. Can I find a way to make them appear there?
It seems you likely need to reinstall the software. While some programs work without installation, many require a proper setup due to registry adjustments and user data creation. For Steam games, you can simply point Steam to the games folder and let it recognize existing files without a full redownload.
