Based on what I've noticed, the updates aren't that impactful. I've been using Dxtory for some time now. I haven't regretted investing in my settings. Audio-wise, you'll need to create these files for your own system. On the eighth tab, when adjusting processing threads, set at least 2-3. Just double-check the settings to pick your desired recording folder and everything else.
