Use a persistent session or keep the app open so it remains active after logging out.
When you sign out from an account on Windows 10 and then log back in, all windows on your desktop disappear because of the logout action. You might find a setting in Windows 10 to turn this off, as well as enabling the option for the system to launch programs on the desktop before logging in (this isn't a service feature). If you need a solution, look for that setting and adjust it accordingly.
I believe for programs to stay active they need to run as services. There might be tools or software available to make them work as services, so I suggest looking into some options carefully and choosing one that suits you. Just remember to avoid downloading anything suspicious and always scan files with your antivirus or a trusted site like www.virustotal.com. Hope this is useful!
