She expressed frustration about her Toshiba Satellite's performance, so I upgraded her with a 500GB SSD instead of her old 560GB HDD and swapped her Realtek card for an Intel AX200 Wi-Fi chipset. The SSD installed smoothly and significantly improved speed. The Wi-Fi upgrade was trickier: her laptop only accepts half mini PCIe cards, so I used an adapter to fit the NGFF M.2 card into its slot. I discovered the newer cards use smaller connectors for the antenna, which means the wires won’t connect properly. I realized the older UFL connector is compatible with the new MHF4 type, but I’m unsure if the adapter will work correctly. The card supports dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, so I’m hoping the old antenna will still function with the new one. For accurate connector names and affordable options, I’d recommend checking electronics stores or online retailers that specialize in Wi-Fi adapters.

I spent several days looking and finally located an adapter suitable for Ali Express. It was inexpensive. If it functions, that’s perfect. Otherwise, I’ll go with your recommendation and purchase a new antenna with the correct connectors. The product listing mentions a specific adapter: "2pc IPEX-4 IPEX MHF4 Gen4 UFL Female to IPEX-1 Connector Jack Male Pin Intel 7260 7265 3160 9260 BCM94360HMB BCM94360CS2AX". These adapters should definitely come with antenna adapters.
