Usb overcurrent issue connected to temperature factors.
Usb overcurrent issue connected to temperature factors.
My computer experiences this unusual issue where restarting or turning it off causes an USB overcurrent warning, but after a short period of inactivity it restarts normally. Recently, an AC failure caused extreme heat in my home, which seems to be triggering the overcurrent error on my PC. I've tried resetting CMOS, disconnecting front USB ports, and booting with only the monitor connected, but nothing has resolved the problem. I'm still trying to find a solution.
Are there multiple USB devices attached? Remove them individually.
Check the USB over current error source. Provide complete system details such as hardware specs, operating system, and power supply information. Mention disk drives and PSU. The issue may indicate overheating; the system will likely cool down once powered off. Ensure everything is secure before restarting.
