USB keyboard and LAN connection issues during gameplay in Diablo IV occur two times.
System model 5900x - x570-E 64GB RAM 1080Ti with 3090 GPU. Swapped GPUs caused issues; NVME SN770 drive reported errors during gameplay. Installed Akko 5075B Plus keyboard. Disconnected during Diablo IV, keyboard and LAN stopped working. Logitech G903 mouse functions properly via monitor USB hub. Event viewer shows error: "An error was detected on device Device\Harddisk8\DR8 during a paging operation." Keyboard restarted briefly after unplugging but then shut down. Issue occurred within two weeks. Possible causes: keyboard or NVME SN770. Consider checking hardware connections and firmware updates.
Testing an i3 12100f with Intel Arc A380 and a 500GB SN770 revealed it hits 99°C during Diablo 4 at 1080p low resolution. Running HWinfo64 showed temperature spikes. I’m considering adding an M.2 heatsink to see if it helps. I didn’t experience the same overheating, but occasional ~500ms frame delays appeared when moving around the game world.

It was the first time with the 1080ti. I looked at the SSD temperatures after 15 minutes—the temperature reached 50°C. It kept happening again, and the keyboard stopped working completely even after moving it to another USB port.
It occurred once more but I lost data in the event viewer after restarting, managed to preserve this before the reboot.
Your SN770 could be experiencing issues in temperature, electricity, or mechanical performance.
I relocated the game to a different SSD (NVMe) and the same issue persisted. The network and my USB to headset disappeared, leaving the PC unresponsive. The event viewer was empty during this time; before rebooting, it didn’t load any events for me to record. I plan to try another SATA SSD since there might be a problem with NVMe. Also, I had enabled Rebar since version 3090 supports it, but I disabled that setting.
