After switching to Windows 11, USB sound issues and freezing began. Occasionally it happens while browsing the internet, more frequently during gameplay, causing brief freezes lasting a couple of seconds. Sometimes the game closes or a window appears and disappears.

I tried the following steps:
- Rolled back to Windows 10 and reinstalled with/without saving files.
- Used a program that monitors USB connections; no specific issues were flagged.
- Disabled USB ports one by one to identify the problem.
- Updated the BIOS to the latest version.
- Visited the Intel website and installed drivers from there.
- Updated video card drivers and performed a full Windows update.
- Checked if the issue was related to the graphics card; replaced it with a 1060.

Components:
I5 10400f, B560m Mortar, RTX 3060, 650w power supply from MSI.

Welcome to the forums, new member!
Updated the BIOS to the newest release.
What BIOS version do you have? Did you reset the CMOS after confirming the update was applied correctly?
Consider reverting to Windows 10 and reinstalling with or without saving files.
It seems you upgraded via the internal update route. In that case, reinstall Windows 11 by creating a bootable USB using Windows Media Creation Tools. Install the operating system in offline mode, then manually add all necessary drivers through an elevated command—Right click the installer and select Run as Administrator.
After completing driver installation, you can connect to the internet and perform an OS update.

I cleaned the CMOS even before I reinstalled Windows. I had the latest bios available, it appears to be from 06.2023. I attempted to reinstall Windows 11 via settings with saving files, then rolled back to Windows 10, followed by reinstalling Windows 10 from a flash drive and formatting the disk before installing Windows. It didn't work, so I went back to version 11 through the settings.
